Return & Exchange Policy

Return Policy

We have 10 calendar days Return Policy, which is applicable under these circumstances:

Returns/Exchange Requests will be accepted only for Manufacturing defects including missing parts / damaged / defective products.

For any concerns regarding Manufacturing defects, please write to us at support@houseofmakeup.com with your concern within 48 hours from receiving the parcel.

We will not entertain Returns/Exchange for any reasons other than specified above.

For Returns/Exchange,

  • Product should be unused.

  • The price tags, brand tags, box and all original packaging must be present.

  • The product must be returned within 10 calendar days

  • Any gifts, discount coupons, freebies, etc. received must also be returned along with the product.

  • We don’t have return/exchange policy on the sale of discounted products. Discounted products will be considered as “FINAL SALE” products.

  • We have reverse pick up services basis on your area location pin code.

  • Only three pick up attempts will be made to collect the return parcel from customer.

Received Damage / Defective or Wrong Product

If you receive a tampered / broken package


If broken/unsealed/tampered package, do not accept the order at the time of delivery itself.

We perform “Quality Check” on all our shipping and packaging processes, but in rare circumstances, if you do receive a damaged, defective/wrong product or an incomplete order, simply get in touch with us within 48 hours of receiving your order with pictures at support@houseofmakeup.com and we will take care of the rest.

Process to Return the Item

  • Send a mail to support@houseofmakeup.com and inform us about the return or exchange that needs to take place. Identify with your Order Number.

  • A reverse pick-up will be arranged by our courier partners depending upon your pin-code and only three pick up attempts will be made to collect the return parcel.

  • Once received, the return/exchange product goes through a quality check.

  • House Of Makeup does not have a refund policy. However, we would be happy to exchange your product or provide you with a credit coupon. The coupon value will be the same amount as that of the product you purchased. You can redeem this coupon on our website to shop.

  • Please allow 2-4 days for the processing of returns/exchanges after delivery of the return consignment on our warehouse.

  • Details of exchange parcel will be shared with you on your registered email id.

My area is not serviceable for return, how do I return my order?

We strive to service all pin codes in India for forward and reverse delivery. In case your pin code is not serviceable, you can still return the product by procedure listed below:

  • We will request you to self- ship this item.

  • Please send us the following items in a sealed bag:

    • Product

    • Brand Labels and Tags

    • Original Packaging

  • Freebees or gifts (if any)
    • Price Tags

  • Please mention Order ID on your shipment

  • Please ensure that the product is unused and the Return ID is generated within 10 days from the time of delivery.

  • Notify us of the courier name and tracking number as soon as you have dispatched it. We want to keep an eye on it too!

  • Give us 1-2 business days after receiving the product, to perform a quality check, post that we will process your refund.

    What if returned product couldn’t pass the Quality Check?
    House Of Makeup has the authority to re-send the product back to you if it doesn’t pass the quality-check. Before sending product back to you, we will share the images with you showing the defect and will intimate you via email.

    CANCELLATIONS

    How do I cancel my order on Houseofmakeup.com?
    To cancel your order, send us an e-mail at support@houseofmakeup.com within 12 hours of placing order. You will receive the confirmation of cancellation on your registered e-mail ID. If the order is cancelled and/or lost or un-delivered to your preferred location, we will refund the complete order amount inclusive of any shipping charges paid by you.

    In case the Order has been shipped from our warehouse, the order cannot be cancelled.
