Shipping Policy

The following Shipping Policy is valid for all retail orders placed on our website www.HouseOfMakeup.com. By making a payment for one or more items on our site, you are providing an agreement to our Shipping Policy.


We strive to dispatch and deliver customer orders in excellent condition and shortest time possible. For all orders amounting to Rs. 500 or more, we will deliver the order to your doorstep free of cost. For all orders below Rs. 500, a shipping charge of Rs. 50 will be levied.

All your orders will be dispatched within 1-2 working days of placing the order. The delivery time might vary between 3 - 10 working days.

Sometimes, delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to, unexpected travel delays from our courier partners due to weather conditions or any political disruptions or strikes. You will have to pardon us for such occurrences. We advise you to check your emails and SMS for any such updates.

What should I do if I miss my delivery?

If you missed the delivery of your package, kindly relax. Our courier partner will make three consecutive attempts to deliver your parcel. Also, just drop us a mail at support@HouseOfMakeup.com mentioning your Order Number and we shall take care of it.

If the order is cancelled from our end and/or lost or un-delivered to your preferred location, we will refund the complete order amount inclusive of any shipping charges paid by you.

In case the ordered item(s) do(es) not reach the customer within 30 days from the shipping date from our warehouse, we will offer a full refund, provided any tracking information does not show that delivery was attempted at the customer doorstep. However, in case of packages for which we do not have a tracking number, we will assume on good faith that the package delivery was not attempted and we will refund the entire amount within 7 days from the date of raising a complaint with us.

In case the package is returned to us after attempted delivery or because of a wrong Shipping address provided by the customer at the time of placing an order, we will be able to offer a partial refund after deduction of Rs 250 towards logistics along with the charges we had to bear to have the item(s) packaged as well as any payment gateway charges we might have had to bear. In case the delivery is missed due to the customer not present at the mentioned address, we will make three consecutive attempts to deliver the package.

We use FedEx, Bluedart, Ecom Express, Aramex and Delhivery to deliver our packages. In areas which are non-serviceable by these carriers, we use Speed Post to deliver parcels. The choice of the consignment carrier is made at the sole discretion of House Of Makeup.

Please note that for orders with multiple items, the complete order may not be shipped out in a single consignment and on the same day. You will be notified in such an instance and will be provided an approximate date of shipment. Rest assured, any delay in shipping will be communicated to you at the time of placing the order. Unfortunately, should any other unforeseen delay occur, you will be alerted within 2 days of placing your order with an apt resolution.
