To put it simply: You are our brand’s voice on our social platforms, and play a key role in building and maintaining our online communities, while driving sales and brand loyalty via various social media initiatives. You are deeply passionate (almost obsessive) about all things social—including trends, consumer behavior, and optimization strategies. You spend hours scrolling through different platforms—but with a mindful, analytical eye, gathering data, details, and trends to leverage in the next campaign. With you leading at the helm, and us providing all the support you need, our social media communities achieve record growth and engagement within the first 6 months itself.


 

Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualize and implement engaging and attention-grabbing social media content, in line with the brand’s long-term and short-term goals and objectives
  2. Streamline strategy and content to suit different platforms, and their unique users, especially in terms of content they’re looking for on that particular platform, their behaviors, habits, etc.
  3. Craft innovative messaging, incorporating key trends wherever possible, to promote brand-focused messages
  4. Track, measure and course-correct campaigns regularly; identify areas to focus on, to hit pre-defined goals
  5. Constantly track conversations in this space, via social listening, identifying hashtags/trends to piggyback on
  6. Secure collaborations with relevant influencers, bloggers, collaborators—manage and nurture relationships
  7. Manage online reputation by responding to DM’s, online comments, and working with the team to resolve customer requests
  8. Collaborate efficiently with other departments to plan product launches, and promotional campaigns


Basic requirement

  1. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in social media content creation and management
  2. Demonstrated expertise in relevant social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Moj, Snapchat, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and emerging channels
  3. An (almost-obsessive:)) passion for and deep knowledge of the beauty industry and social landscape
  4. Creative eye, with an impeccable attention to detail
  5. Experience working with high-profile influencers and celebrity talent—ability to bring on board and nurture relationships with collaborators, in line with the brand’s business objectives, personality, values, and core pillars
  6. Self-motivated manager, with a proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
